Job Summary

The Data QA role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of data through comprehensive testing of ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and cloud environments. This position contributes significantly to the organization by validating data accuracy and integrity, enabling informed decision-making based on trustworthy insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough ETL Testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Perform Data Warehouse (DWH) Testing to ensure data is accurately stored and accessible.
• Utilize cloud testing techniques on AWS (including services like S3 and Glue) and Azure, ensuring effective integration of data.
• Write and execute SQL Queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Document technical processes and testing results with clear and comprehensive technical documentation skills.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on data quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of integration tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, and Workato.
• Experience with DataBricks to optimize data processing.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL Testing methodologies.
• Proficient in writing SQL Queries to facilitate data validation processes.
• Excellent technical documentation skills to capture processes and outcomes effectively.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Testing on AWS using Athena.
• Knowledgeable in running and troubleshooting AWS Glue Jobs.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of Python and Apache Spark for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Data Quality Assurance or related roles with a focus on ETL and DWH Testing.

Environment

• Hybrid working environment with potential locations in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Noida.
