Job Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will spearhead the establishment, market penetration, and growth of IFM Technical Services' Australian operations, aiming to achieve a target revenue of USD 20 Million within a strategic timeframe. The CEO will be responsible for building a sustainable, compliant, and profitable enterprise from inception, leveraging a deep understanding of IFM technical ecosystems and entrepreneurial acumen.
Responsibilities

Business Establishment & Market Entry
- Lead the incorporation of the Australian entity and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Develop foundational structures including legal, financial, HR, operational, and compliance systems.
- Conduct market feasibility analysis and establish partnerships for technical service delivery.

Strategic Growth & Revenue Expansion
- Formulate and implement a go-to-market strategy for IFM technical services.
- Identify and secure anchor clients and contracts in early operational phases.
- Drive organic and inorganic growth initiatives including joint ventures and acquisitions.

Technical IFM Capability Development
- Build capabilities across MEP services, HVAC operations, and digital FM systems.
- Ensure compliance with Australian technical standards and safety regulations.
- Establish service excellence frameworks and performance metrics.

Organizational Design & Talent Acquisition
- Design a scalable organizational structure and lead recruitment for the core leadership team.
- Develop capability building programs and workforce retention strategies.

- Own the P&L for the Australian business unit and develop financial models and budgets.
- Ensure disciplined cost controls and capital allocation.

- Lead enterprise-level sales engagements and position the company as a differentiated service provider.
- Develop strong brand visibility through industry networks and thought leadership.

Qualifications

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

- 15 – 25 years in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) or technical services industry.
- Proven track record in setting up or scaling international business operations.
- Extensive experience in technical FM services delivery and contract management.
Preferred Skills
- Strong negotiation, client acquisition, and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with Australian or comparable market regulations.
- Experience in high-value revenue targets and business expansion strategies.
Experience
- A minimum of 15 years with a preference for candidates possessing 20-25 years of relevant experience in the IFM realm.
