Website Designer - Intern

Role and Responsibility

• Design, update, and improve UI/UX elements on our existing website

• Collaborate with the communications team to reflect branding and content needs

• Optimize pages for responsiveness, speed, and SEO

• Ensure website accessibility and mobile compatibility

• Create new sections/pages (e.g., impact stories, volunteer signup, event landing pages)

• Regularly test and troubleshoot for errors or broken links

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in WordPress, Wix, or Webflow (or similar CMS platforms)

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a bonus

• Experience with UI/UX principles and responsive design

• Creative mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to take initiative and manage time independently

• Portfolio or samples of web projects (even personal/class ones)
