Job Description
<div>Key Responsibilities:<br />
1. Demand Forecasting and Planning:<br />
o Develop and implement accurate demand forecasting models tailored to<br />
specific categories within the procurement platform.<br />
o Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product development teams to align<br />
demand forecasts with product launches and market needs.</div>
<div>2. Supplier Management:<br />
o Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and<br />
establishing long-term relationships.<br />
o Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to prevent disruptions and<br />
ensure continuity of supply.<br />
3. Category Strategy Development:<br />
o Develop and execute category-specific strategies to drive value and<br />
innovation within the procurement platform.<br />
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for category<br />
expansion and improvement.<br />
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:<br />
o Utilize advanced analytics to monitor category performance, track key<br />
metrics, and generate actionable insights.<br />
o Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize category performance and<br />
procurement processes.<br />
5. Client Engagement:<br />
o Work closely with clients to understand their procurement needs and<br />
preferences, ensuring our platform meets their requirements.<br />
o Address client inquiries and issues related to categories, providing solutions<br />
and support as needed.</div>
<div>Qualifications:<br />
Proven experience (____years) in category management, procurement, or supply<br />
chain management, preferably in a technology or platform environment.<br />
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting<br />
tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, analytics software).<br />
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of<br />
successful supplier management.<br />
Technical knowledge of engineering products and supply chain processes is highly<br />
desirable.</div>
