Job Summary

We’re looking for a Secure DevOps Engineer to help integrate security best practices across the software development lifecycle. The engineer will work on identifying and addressing security gaps, automating secure infrastructure processes, and contributing to the design and deployment of secure, scalable systems. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and influence the security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure development lifecycle practices across application and infrastructure layers.
  • Develop automation solutions to support secure deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Identify infrastructure requirements and contribute to architecture decisions with a security-first mindset.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security gaps and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Write scripts and tools to support CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in software security and 2 years in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
  • Experience deploying services and pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and monitoring platforms (e.g., Grafana).
  • Strong understanding of security principles, software development lifecycle, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git) and interactive visualization tools.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work in a global, agile team.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; background in aviation IT is a plus.
