Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a team of operations executives within the e-commerce sector. The role focuses on ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks, optimizing inventory management, and enhancing the overall fulfillment process. The Operations Manager will set clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team, monitor performance, and foster a high-efficiency work environment which is key to achieving the company's operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–6 operations executives to execute daily tasks flawlessly.
• Utilize tools such as Shopify, Shiprocket, and Unicommerce for operational management.
• Set clear KPIs for the operations team, monitor performance, and foster collaboration.
• Oversee inventory levels and calculate order quantities to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure timely procurement and replenishment of stock.
• Supervise the end-to-end dispatch process to ensure accurate order fulfillment and shipping.
• Manage relationships with courier partners and logistics aggregators to optimize shipping costs and timelines.
• Act as a final point of contact for escalation management, swiftly resolving complex shipping or customer fulfillment issues.
• Optimize automated customer communication channels, including chatbots, to enhance customer experience post-purchase.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of core operations management experience in the D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) or e-commerce sector.
• Hands-on experience with e-commerce operations including shipping, dispatch, procurement, and vendor management.
• Proficient in using Shopify, Shiprocket, and Unicommerce tools.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for calculating inventory forecasts and order quantities.
• Exceptional escalation management skills, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented mindset under pressure.
• Familiarity or experience with AI tools and automation workflows is a significant plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred.

• Estimated salary range: 6-12 LPA (Lakhs per Annum).
