Job Summary

The Supply Chain Management Consultant Intern will support the development and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM) solutions. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and configuring SCM modules, and providing support throughout the project lifecycle. The intern will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document supply chain requirements.
  • Design and configure D365 SCM modules including:
    • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Inventory and Warehouse Management
    • Product Information Management
    • Production Control
    • Sales and Marketing
    • Master Planning
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and propose scalable, best-practice solutions.
  • Support all phases of the project lifecycle including discovery, design, build, test, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Train end-users and prepare training documentation.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot functional issues post-implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, and IT.
  • Stay current with Microsoft’s roadmap and suggest relevant upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle D365 SCM implementations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehouse operations, and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting D365 SCM modules.
  • Ability to lead requirement-gathering sessions and create functional design documents.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 Supply Chain are preferred.
