Job Summary

The Oracle Senior Functional Consultant specializing in the Finance Module will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing the finance functionalities of Oracle applications. This position is key to ensuring that finance processes align with organizational goals while streamlining operations and enhancing financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze financial requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Implement and configure Oracle Financial Modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets).
  • Provide expert guidance and support in testing, validating, and deploying finance solutions within Oracle applications.
  • Conduct system training for end-users and create detailed documentation to support finance processes and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the finance module and resolve them efficiently to minimize disruptions.
  • Stay updated with Oracle enhancements and financial regulations to ensure compliance and improvement of processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials consulting or support.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financial Modules, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools to support finance reporting.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle certification in relevant financial modules.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with integration between Oracle ERP and other financial systems.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Oracle Financials, with a focus on implementing finance solutions.
