Automation L3 support Engineer
Job Summary
The Automation L3 Support Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering high-level technical support for automation solutions. This position entails troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing current automation practices, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions leveraging ServiceNow, Flow Designer, and PowerShell.
- Develop infrastructure automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, SQL, and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
- Manage and deliver components for adopting large-scale automation frameworks, ensuring coverage across UI, back-end integration, and database levels.
- Integrate test automation processes into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using Jenkins, Ansible, and Git.
- Create Flows, Actions, and deploy automation scripts in various environments.
- Collaborate with teams to gather business requirements, functional designs, and assist in scenario design, flow mapping, and prototyping.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, Flow Designer, and PowerShell.
- Strong scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, and SQL.
- In-depth understanding of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Knowledge of REST architecture and testing automation approaches.
- Experience with ServiceNow IT Operation Management (ITOM) & Integration Hub/Orchestrator is a plus.
- Familiarity with Unix, Windows, network devices, and cloud operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage support functions covering planning, tracking, reporting, and quality management.
