Job Summary

The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications. This role focuses on developing scalable and efficient backend services, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features that align with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop scalable and efficient backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for backend systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java (8 or higher) and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Experience with RESTful web services and JSON/XML.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
