Manager – Founder’s Office Strategy, Operations & Special Projects

As Ogaan continues to strengthen and expand its business, they are seeking a high-caliber individual to join the Founder’s Office to work closely with the Managing Director on critical business priorities.

Job Summary

The Founder’s Office collaborates directly with the Managing Director on important strategic, operational, and growth initiatives at Ogaan. This role offers broad responsibilities that span various functions, including retail operations, merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, customer experience, finance, technology, and people management. The suitable candidate will possess strong analytical abilities coupled with an operational mindset, enabling them to swiftly address business problems, structure ambiguous situations, and collaborate with diverse teams to turn ideas into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and Business Initiatives: Partner closely with the Managing Director on key strategic and operational priorities, lead high-priority initiatives from problem definition to analysis, implementation, and review, while evaluating business opportunities and conducting market research.
• Retail and Operating Performance: Collaborate with teams to enhance store productivity and customer experiences, analyze performance across various metrics, and identify bottlenecks with practical solutions.
• Cross-Functional Project Management: Lead projects across departments including Retail Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, and Supply Chain, ensuring effective implementation of initiatives.
• Analytics and Management Information: Build and analyze dashboards, performance reports, and business data to identify trends and areas needing attention, and improve the overall quality of management information.
• Transformation and Special Projects: Support initiatives in technology, automation, and process transformation, and engage in special projects aligned with the Managing Director's evolving priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Strong academic record with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a leading institution.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in a Founder’s Office, business operations, strategy, category management, retail operations, consulting, or a similar cross-functional role, preferably within a consumer or retail environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical capability and comfort with business and financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both senior leaders and operational teams.

Preferred Skills

• Direct exposure to retail operations, store performance, merchandising, e-commerce, supply chain, or customer experience.
• Experience in project management from analysis to on-ground implementation.

Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years in relevant roles within a retail or consumer goods environment.

Environment

This role is based in Delhi NCR and involves working closely with leadership and various teams across multiple functions. The environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.

Salary

Compensation is up to ₹50 lakh per annum, depending on experience and cultural fit.
