Appian Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise-level applications using Appian BPM. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Appian components, integrations, and best practices, and be comfortable working in an agile and remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust business process management (BPM) solutions using Appian.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Create Appian plugins, process models, records, reports, and interfaces.
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using Web APIs, REST, and other integration methods.
• Participate in code reviews and performance tuning.
• Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, architecture standards, and security guidelines.
• Document technical solutions and support application deployment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total IT experience with at least 4+ years of strong experience in Appian BPM.
• Proven experience with Appian version 21.x or higher.
• Expertise in Appian components: SAIL, CDT, Records, Reports, Interfaces, Process Models, and Expression Rules.
• Strong knowledge of Appian architecture and design principles.
• Experience with integrations using RESTful services, SOAP, and databases.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification (preferred).
• Experience with Java/J2EE or other programming languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Experience

• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in IT, specifically in Appian BPM application development.

Environment

• This position is remote, allowing work from any location with internet access.
