Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and experienced Woocommerce Developers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions using WordPress WooCommerce. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software products that drive our clients' success. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about e-commerce platforms and open-source development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
  • Integrate and extend WooCommerce functionalities using custom plugins and themes.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing WooCommerce implementations for performance and scalability.
  • Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony for advanced customizations and integrations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress WooCommerce development.
  • Proficiency with WooCommerce core and plugin architecture.
  • Strong command of PHP and experience with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication is Required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Previous remote work experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in WooCommerce and WordPress development.
  • Proven track record delivering and maintaining complex e-commerce solutions.
