This position is responsible for monitoring and supporting critical applications and infrastructure.
Role Summary:
Monitor production applications for errors, exceptions, failures and anomalies. Debug and investigate any issues identified during monitoring. Determine the impact and criticality of the issues. Report the issues identified with appropriate priority by creating a ticket in JIRA. Reproduce these issues in test and staging systems, provide sufficient details for quick resolution and root cause analysis. Work with team lead to identify and provide any potential workarounds.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support production web applications and infrastructure running on AWS.
• Report any application or infrastructure issues identified in production systems including web application(s), database, file transmissions, and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor daily scheduled jobs and file transmissions. Execute any failed jobs. Maintain agreed SLAs.
• Create a daily report of the issues identified indicating appropriate criticality.
• Participate in weekly triage meetings.
Position Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately
• Ability to create the daily reports
• Exceptional analytical/debugging skills
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

• Experience with Linux, Windows
• Experince with Splunk Cloud and Splunk APM
• Knowledge of commonly used Linux tools for searching and parsing files
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
• Experience on Smoke testing
• Develop reports on common, impactful trends within the support organization to share with cross-functional teams and illustrate issues and priorities from the customer perspective.

• Credit Card Systems or Payment Systems and Industry experience
• Knowledge of the TS2 System and TSYS methodologies
• Card processing industry knowledge
• Payment processing industry knowledge
• Scripting using Python, Perl
• Creating alerts,Reports and dashboards in splunk as well as in data base.
• Dev Ops / QA / automation experience
• Quality testing
• Ability to present findings in a polished way
Note: Shift details: Candidate should be ready to work rotationally in 6AM-3PM IST shift OR 3PM to 12AM IST shift.
