We are building a new-age Bschool in Mumbai (Lower Parel). An institution cobuilt and backed by elite BFSI CEOs and founders engineered to produce modern finance professionals for the next era. Combining application first, technical mastery, client facing skills and AI-native leaders across Investments, IB, Markets, Risk, and Fintech.
A school that’s designed to last centuries and not decades, one that builds talent through live mandates, industry-partnered research, and an obsession with great career outcomes.
We are looking for a respected finance leader ready to shape how the next generation of leaders are groomed. This is not an Academic, HR or L&D role.
You will not be expected to design pedagogy frameworks or manage case-writing mechanics. A dedicated L&D Head and an Academic Dean from a top-tier B-School will support those functions.
Your mandate is different. You will bring industry judgment into the room — what must a 25-year-old truly know to survive in a front-office IB team? What level of modelling depth is non-negotiable? What separates employable from exceptional?
You will be a part of the institution’s founding leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Define the capability standards students must meet to be role-ready for each major career track.
Shape the overall program architecture — what is taught, in what sequence, and at what level of depth
Ensure curriculum reflects how finance is actually practiced, not how it is described in textbooks.
Integrate ‘learning by doing’ into everyday sessions to ensure it remains an application first program
Set expectations and quality benchmarks for adjunct and visiting practitioner faculty.
Anchor and deliver select flagship modules, and coach students to think like growth-minded professionals.
Partner with the industry for dialogues and high-impact sessions featuring Indian and global honchos.
Continuously calibrate the program using employer feedback and hiring outcomes
Work closely with the L&D Head to translate domain depth into structured skilling journeys
Partner with the Academic and research dean on case writing and industry research. Also partner with him for bringing top-tier international faculty to the program.
Collaborate with Admissions to ensure cohort quality and alignment with career tracks
Ideal Candidate Profile
15+ years in a Financial Services leadership role with a reputed global or Indian organisation.
Graduate from a top tier Indian or global institution.
Respected industry professional with strong credibility and networks
High standards, strong judgment, and comfort mentoring ambitious young talent
Strong interest in teaching, Interested in shaping an institution, not retiring into one
