Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in Java-based automation, microservices testing, and frontend testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing distributed systems, frontend applications, and building robust automation frameworks from scratch using modern tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test automation frameworks using Java and preferably Playwright.

• Perform end-to-end testing of Java-based microservices and Kafka/pub-sub-based systems.

• Execute and maintain frontend UI automation tests for applications built in React.js (Angular or Vue.js experience is also acceptable).

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test automation.

• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions across the stack.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in automation using Java.

• Strong knowledge and experience in testing microservices, especially with Kafka or similar pub-sub technologies.

• Proficient in UI automation testing with tools like Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, integration testing, and system architecture.

• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.
