Pega Lead System Architect
Job Summary
As a Pega Lead System Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Pega solutions that meet our clients' business needs. Working closely with business analysts, solution architects, project managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you will ensure that all requirements and prerequisites are fully understood and implemented. Additionally, you will mentor and coach both junior and senior Pega developers to maintain adherence to best practices and standards, while also playing a key role in deployment and production support.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Architect, develop, and deliver robust Pega solutions, including system, data, and integration architectures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, project managers, and SMEs to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentoring and Coaching: Provide guidance to junior and senior Pega developers, incorporating code review and design review feedback to ensure application integrity.
- Best Practices Implementation: Advocate for and implement best practices to ensure reusability, quality, and standard adherence within the Pega platform.
- Deployment Support: Assist in deployment activities and provide post go-live support and knowledge transition.
- ** Agile Engagement:** Participate in Agile processes, including sprint estimation and retrospectives, to continuously improve project delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 6+ years of experience in Pega development.
- Certification: Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) is required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Pega platform, frameworks, and methodologies; experience in architecting and migrating complex solutions.
- Pega Features: Practical experience with Pega Constellation, Pega App Studio, and familiarity with new Pega features.
- Integration Skills: Proven track record in integrating Pega with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and other systems such as cloud services.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience participating in Agile projects, including sprint estimation and retrospectives.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical details to senior technology and management teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive independent projects and troubleshoot complex issues.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience on Smart Dispute and Smart Investigate projects.
- Familiarity with Customer Service Framework.
- Hands-on expertise with Pega Constellation.
- Proven mentoring skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Pega development and related system architecture.
- Experience in leading and managing Pega projects, teams, and deliverables.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Environment
- Location: Bengaluru.
- Work Setting: Full-time role in an offshore team environment.
- Work Hours: Flexibility to work until 10:30 PM IST is required to accommodate scrum ceremonies and overlap hours as needed.
- Team Dynamics: Collaborative work with cross-functional teams including business users, portfolio leads, and technical stakeholders.
