The Role: Why This Is a Unique Opportunity
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for an architect for our people function. As the Director - HRBP, you will be the strategic owner of the entire employee lifecycle for a key business unit of 400-500 employees. Your core mandate is to build structure from the ground up. You will design and implement the HR frameworks that will scale with our growth, moving from informal, agile processes to a robust, high-performance culture. This role is a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution – you will be defining the strategy one moment and rolling up your sleeves to implement it the next.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Business Partnering: Act as the primary strategic HR partner to business leaders, aligning people strategy with business goals to drive performance and growth.

Build from the Ground Up:

Design and implement Strategic Manpower Planning.

Architect and build Career Progression & Succession Frameworks.

Own and drive Employee Engagement strategies to foster a high-retention, high-performance culture.

HR Systems & Process Excellence:

Lead HR Technology evaluation, selection, and implementation to automate and streamline processes.

Build scalable Systems and Processes for the entire HR lifecycle (recruitment to exit).

Establish and monitor HR Metrics for data-driven decision-making.

Talent & Organizational Development:

Oversee Performance Management, guiding managers on feedback, development, and performance improvement.

Partner with COEs (Centers of Excellence) to deliver integrated solutions in Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and L&D.

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-12 HR professionals, with 2 direct reports.

Cultivate a culture of hustle, ownership, and excellence within the HR team.

Manage and resolve complex Employee Relations matters.

Ideal Candidate Profile
You are the right fit if you have:

8-12 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a strategic HRBP capacity.

A proven track record of building HR systems, processes, and frameworks from scratch in a high-growth environment.

Direct experience managing a team of HR professionals.

Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead HR transformation initiatives.

Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior leadership.

Hands-on experience with HR Technology (e.g., HRIS, ATS, Performance Tools).

A mindset that embraces "hustle and grunt work" – you are strategic but not afraid to be deeply hands-on.

Experience in the Technology and/or Financial Services industries is essential.
