Job Summary

The ROR+ELIXIR Developer will focus on building and maintaining applications using both Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix. This role combines responsibilities from both platforms to create high-quality software solutions that meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications effectively.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software robustness.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in both Rails and Elixir/Phoenix applications.
• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs for front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Management: Manage and manipulate data in databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on various platforms.
• Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in both Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix frameworks.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with database management and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies for unit and integration testing.
• Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• API Development Skills: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills
