Role Overview

The Financial Controller will be a hands-on finance leader responsible for end-to-end accounting, taxation, controls, and financial discipline for a high-volume B2C business. The role involves managing a team of 7–8 finance professionals and working closely with the Founders.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end accounting, financial close, and reporting
- Manage statutory, tax, and audit requirements
- Drive strong AR management, credit control, and reconciliations
- Ensure tight inventory controls including valuation, ageing, expiry, breakages, and shrinkage
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
- Strengthen SOPs and financial controls across the business
- Ensure effective usage and data integrity on SAP S/4HANA
- Lead and develop a finance team of 7–8 members

Candidate Profile

- 8–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership roles
- Prior experience in B2C/D2C product-based companies
- Exposure to high-volume trading and distribution businesses
- Strong hands-on experience in AR, inventory controls, and month-end closures
- Startup exposure with ability to hit the ground running
- Experience working with founders or senior leadership
- Shorter notice period & Bangalore-based candidate preferred
