Job Summary
Experienced and strategic Head of SOC/Monitoring Operations to lead and scale its Security Operations Center (SOC) and global monitoring footprint. This high-visibility leadership role involves overseeing a multi-tiered team of managers, team leads, and operators across 24/7 rotational shifts. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, manage complex client and internal relationships, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to enhance system reliability and AI integration. The role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality security monitoring services aligned with mission to deliver proactive and intelligent security solutions.
Responsibilities

Strategic People Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a multi-tiered organization of SOC Managers, Team Leads, and Operators across direct and partner Command Centers.
- Drive a high-performance, accountable culture through continuous coaching, clear career pathways, and skills development.
- Establish operational standards, refine SOPs, and ensure organizational alignment across 24/7 rotational shifts.

Operational & Business Execution
- Serve as the primary operational authority for global monitoring operations, ensuring strict SLA compliance and incident response performance.
- Define, monitor, and optimize operational metrics and QA frameworks to enhance operator performance.
- Lead operational reviews, manage escalations, and resolve complex operational challenges to retain key clients.

Crisis Governance & External Stakeholder Management
- Command crisis-level incident responses, establishing escalation protocols and coordinating with internal teams, C-suite clients, emergency services, and law enforcement.
- Manage executive communications during critical incidents, providing timely and professional updates.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with partner GSOCs to ensure real-time issue resolution and operational efficiency.

AI Operations & Technology Integration
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate operational insights into actionable feedback for AI engine.
- Oversee system reliability, platform issue resolution, and operational improvements to maximize platform uptime.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, reporting standards, and site assessment documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15-20+ years of overall experience, including 5-8+ years in senior leadership roles managing SOCs, Command Centers, or high-volume 24/7 operational environments.
- Proven experience managing teams of 50+ members across multi-tiered, hybrid, or partner ecosystems.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of scaling teams, building high-performance cultures, and managing complex operational dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with enterprise C-suites, partner executives, emergency responders, and law enforcement.
- Deep operational expertise in establishing SLAs, quality metrics, and continuous process improvements.
- Domain knowledge in physical security operations, surveillance systems, incident response, and AI/automation integration.
- Decisive crisis management skills, maintaining composure and sound judgment under high-pressure scenarios.
- Proactive, self-motivated, with flexibility to adapt to US-centric schedules and staggered shifts.
