Job Summary

The Fashion Design / CPT Intern will play an integral role in developing and setting up new centres of design development. This position offers hands-on experience in the fashion industry, particularly in handling and setting up of embroidery units. The ideal candidate will contribute innovative ideas to the design team and support the brand's commitment to authentic craftsmanship and design development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptualizing and developing new designs.
• Handle and set up embroidery units as part of the garment development process.
• Collaborate with artisans and other team members to ensure quality and detail in all creations.
• Participate in quality checks to maintain high standards for all designs.
• Support ongoing projects and daily operations within the design studio.
• Stay updated with current trends in fashion and embroidery techniques.

Qualifications

• A creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and quality.
• Prior experience in handling and setting up embroidery units is preferred.
• Passion for fashion design and garment development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with embroidery machines and textile embellishment techniques.
• Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Sketching and illustration skills.
• Understanding of current fashion trends and market demands.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 1 year, especially dealing with hand embroidery.
• Relevant Experience: Any prior internship or project experience in fashion design or embroidery will be an advantage.
• Minimum Experience Required: 0 years (Freshers may also apply).
