Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Techno-Functional Team Lead cum Manager to oversee the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise integration solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a blend of technical depth in Azure integration services and functional leadership to manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure business outcomes are achieved. The candidate will lead cross-functional squads of developers, architects, and analysts while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, security, and delivery excellence.
Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
- Own solution architecture and design for Azure integration landscapes.
- Oversee development of APIs, Logic Apps, and Function Apps, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Drive best practices for Azure API Management (APIM) policies, event-driven integration (Service Bus/Event Grid), and secure credential management via Key Vault.
- Ensure Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/ARM) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) are consistently applied across environments.
- Provide technical guidance on error handling, monitoring (App Insights, Log Analytics), and high-availability design.

Functional & Managerial Leadership
- Act as the bridge between business teams and technical squads, translating functional requirements into integration designs.
- Lead requirement workshops, solution walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders.
- Manage delivery of multiple parallel integration initiatives under strict timelines.
- Own Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID) tracking and mitigation planning.
- Define resource allocation, sprint planning, and release governance across SIT, PERF, and PROD environments.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, audit, and regulatory standards.

Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Azure developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
- Drive adherence to coding standards, documentation, and review processes.
- Serve as primary escalation point for integration issues and business queries.
- Report project status, risks, and delivery metrics to senior management/CIO.
Qualifications

Educational Background
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure Integration Services: APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault.
- Hands-on knowledge of Bicep/ARM templates, YAML pipelines, and GitOps practices.
- Good understanding of enterprise integration patterns, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures.

Leadership & Project Management
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Experience with stakeholder communication, requirement analysis, and functional gap bridging.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, MS Project, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, or Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integrations on Azure.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks for data integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with ITIL/Agile delivery models, SAFe frameworks.
- Prior consulting/RFP experience with utilities, automotive, or financial services domain.
Experience
- 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in Azure integration projects.
- 3+ years in a team lead/managerial role.
