Job Summary

The Finance & Operations (FinOps) Associate will support accounting, compliance, fund operations, and portfolio reporting. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial management and regulatory compliance, contributing to the smooth functioning and transparency of the fund’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly book closure for the Investment Manager (IM), Sponsor, and Fund Schemes.
• Manage expense recording, accounting, and reconciliations.
• Execute and coordinate monthly statutory, tax, and regulatory compliances across entities.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, Management Information Systems (MIS), and fund-level reporting.
• Coordinate with banks, custodians, depositories, auditors, and compliance consultants.

Qualifications

• NISM - Series - III - C: Securities Intermediaries Compliance (Fund) pass certificate must be obtained before joining.
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and Income Tax.
• Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of experience; or semi-qualified CA with 1–3 years of accounting and compliance experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), fund operations, or financial services is an advantage.

Experience

• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, compliance, or fund operations.
