Purpose of the role: The Team Lead Client Service for AIF Operations plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the Client Service Function of a Alternative Investment Funds across Cat II & III funds across Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Debt Funds and Commercial Real Estate Funds. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely conduct of Client Service Operations including Client & Distributor engagement, Client Queries, New Fund Set up, RTA Operations including Drawdown Management, Regulatory & financial reporting, Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making by providing comprehensive financial analysis.<br /> <br /> Job Tasks and Responsibilities: The key job tasks and responsibilities are as follows: Client & Distributor Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for investor communication/interaction with respect to fund performance, financial reporting, and capital transactions. Manage the Client Service Desk for the Domestic AIF/PMS Products in close Coordination with Sales, Business Development, Compliance, Investment and other internal stakeholders. Ensure smooth launch of new products and servicing of existing products. Effective Query resolution pertaining to existing and new launches. Spearhead product launches with Business Partners, ensure smooth Subscriptions, Redemptions, Drawdowns and other related matters. Timely communication to/with Clients, Business Partners and Internal Stakeholders. Adherence to and improvement of laid down Operations Policies and Processes in the best interest of Business, Business Partners and all stakeholders. Facilitate investor due diligence requests and provide support during fundraising efforts.<br /> <br /> Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate regulatory filings and disclosures, AIF annual reports. Liaise with regulatory authorities and external legal counsel on compliance matters as necessary.<br /> <br /> Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors, including quarterly performance updates, financial statements, and capital account statements.<br /> <br /> Team Management and Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to Client Service function, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department, promoting teamwork and professional development.<br /> <br /> Qualifications: Post Graduate/MBA In Finance.<br /> <br /> Experience: Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in AIF Client Service Operations, Financial Reporting within the Private Equity or Alternative Investment Industry.<br /> <br /> Functional Competencies: Strong understanding of fund structures. Proficiency in Client & Distributor Engagement/Communication. Hands on experience of CRM tools. Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks applicable to AIFs.<br /> <br /> Behavioral Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, investors, and external service providers. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
