Oracle HCM ORC / Talent Acquisition SME

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Oracle HCM Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) / Talent Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Recruiting Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a deep functional understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud’s recruiting capabilities and talent acquisition lifecycle, focusing on delivering streamlined, scalable, and compliant recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), owning solution design, configuration, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective Oracle ORC configurations.
  • Configure and optimize recruitment processes: job requisitions, candidate workflows, interview scheduling, offers, and onboarding integrations.
  • Ensure solution compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Manage integrations with systems like background check providers, onboarding tools, career portals, and third-party job boards.
  • Lead and support testing cycles including unit, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); resolve any functional and technical issues.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for recruiters, hiring managers, and HR personnel.
  • Provide post-implementation support, address user feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with Oracle product enhancements and assess their relevance for ongoing business needs.
  • Liaise with Oracle support and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including 2+ years in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
  • Proven expertise in configuring Oracle ORC components such as job templates, career sites, recruiting phases/states, and offers.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end talent acquisition processes from requisition to onboarding.
  • Experience with recruiting compliance standards and data privacy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing system integrations with external HR and recruitment platforms.
  • Oracle Cloud certification in Talent Acquisition / ORC preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with global HR teams and multi-region deployments is a plus.

Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in relevant roles, with more than 2 years specifically in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
