BigQuery Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BigQuery Developer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Google BigQuery. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to create scalable, high-performing data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, and deliver actionable insights to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Data Management & Development:

  • Design and implement efficient SQL queries to retrieve, process, and analyze large datasets in BigQuery.
  • Develop and optimize BigQuery tables, views, and datasets for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Create data pipelines and workflows using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and other GCP tools.

• Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize query performance and storage to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency.
  • Ensure proper partitioning and clustering of tables for effective query execution.

• Data Quality & Security:

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in BigQuery.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, including access controls and compliance with privacy regulations.

• Innovation & Problem-Solving:

  • Stay updated with the latest BigQuery features and Google Cloud technologies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with GCP tools like Cloud Storage, DataForm, Pub/Sub, or Composer.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E.
• 3+ years of experience working with BigQuery and GCP technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Dataflow and other Google Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations.

Experience

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in BigQuery and GCP technologies.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹500,000 - ₹1,500,000
