Ltd. (FSIPL)<br /> Role Purpose<br /> The role is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end operations at FSIPL&rsquo;s Saswad facility. The incumbent will ensure manufacturing excellence, cost efficiency, product quality, food safety, and compliance while developing team capability and aligning operations to the company&rsquo;s growth and efficiency improvement plans.<br /> Educational Qualification<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Preferred Certifications: ISO Internal Auditor, HACCP, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), TPM, Lean Manufacturing<br /> Experience<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;15&ndash;20 years of experience in food manufacturing / food service / processed food industry<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong exposure to manufacturing of sauces, gravies, marinades, condiments, canned food, and base preparations<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proven experience in leading large teams and delivering cost, quality, and operational excellence<br /> Key Responsibilities<br /> 1. Operational Excellence<br /> 1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain complete control over operating costs and unit KPIs, including:<br /> I. Process losses of Raw Material (RM), Packing Material (PM), inks &amp; solvents<br /> II. Capacity Utilisation<br /> III. Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)<br /> IV. Productivity<br /> V. On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) Delivery<br /> VI. Operating Cost Efficiency<br /> 2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Control material consumption and monitor abnormal variances of materials at all stocking points.<br /> 3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce process losses, enhance capacity utilization, and improve efficiency.<br /> 2. CAPEX Planning &amp; Execution<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Plan, implement, and monitor CAPEX projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and performance benchmarks.<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee project documentation, validation, and successful handover for operational use.<br /> 3. Functional &amp; Team Management<br /> Manage, control, and train teams in the following functional areas:<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Stores &amp; Inventory Management &ndash; RM, PM, Finished Goods, Engineering Spares, Consumables, Miscellaneous Items<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Plant &amp; Facility Maintenance &ndash; Preventive and corrective maintenance systems<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Production Execution &ndash; Schedule adherence, resource optimization, and process control<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;5S, GMP, GHP, GWP Implementation &ndash; Hygiene, workplace organization, and best practices<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Quality Control &ndash; Batch testing, process checks, and consistency<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Food Safety &ndash; Compliance with FSSAI and internal FSIPL standards<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;EHS (Environment, Health &amp; Safety) &ndash; Workplace safety, audits, and environmental compliance<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Production Planning &amp; Inventory Control (PPIC) &ndash; Coordination of production schedules and raw material availability<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Plant Administrative Processes &amp; Procedures &ndash; Documentation, SOPs, and operational discipline<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;HR Processes &ndash; Manpower planning, performance management, and employee engagement<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Plant Financial Control &amp; MIS Generation &ndash; Tracking of costs, variances, and operational metrics<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Audit &amp; Review Systems &ndash; Maintain objective records, conduct audits, and ensure implementation of improvement actions<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Organizational Alignment &ndash; Support FSIPL&rsquo;s growth plan, operational efficiency goals, and strategic priorities through collaboration and execution<br /> 4. People Development<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Design and implement structured development programs for reporting managers and key team members.<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Promote a high-performance culture through regular reviews, coaching, and capability building.<br /> 5.
