Job Summary

The SAP BW Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BW data models, integrating data from various SAP modules into BW for comprehensive reporting. This role focuses on delivering accurate and efficient reporting solutions while collaborating closely with functional and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP BW data models, including InfoProviders, Data Store Objects (DSOs), and InfoObjects.
• Integrate data from SAP Materials Management (MM) and other modules into BW to facilitate end-to-end reporting.
• Develop and maintain BusinessObjects reports utilizing Web Intelligence, Universe Design Tool, and additional BusinessObjects tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ascertain reporting requirements and create scalable solutions.
• Construct source-to-report data flows, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and reporting anomalies.
• Support ongoing data operations and enhancements in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects, specifically Web Intelligence and Universe Design Tool.
  • Deep understanding of the SAP MM module, including its data structures, processes, and integration points.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability in designing and delivering source-to-report solutions.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other SAP modules and data integration processes may be beneficial.
• Experience with performance tuning in SAP BW would be an advantage.

Experience
