Position Overview:<br />
We are seeking an ambitious, data driven, result oriented Senior Distribution Manager with a proven track record to design,<br />
build, operated and optimize distribution operations across our supply chain. This role is critical in ensuring efficient hub<br />
operations, effective management of third-party job work, enhancing the distribution network and accurate inventory control.<br />
The successful candidate will focus on maximizing throughput, controlling distribution costs, and ensuring financial and<br />
operational accuracy within the distribution network.<br />
Key Responsibilities:<br />
• Hub Efficiency:<br />
o Lead and manage distribution hubs to increase throughput while maintaining quality and safety standards.<br />
o Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks in hub operations.<br />
o Monitor key performance metrics and adjust strategies to enhance hub efficiency<br />
o Enhance the Distribution network across geographies.<br />

rd Party Job-Work Efficiency:<br />
o Oversee the efficiency of third-party job work operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and<br />
meet quality standards.<br />
o Collaborate with job work vendors to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall<br />
performance.<br />
o Evaluate and optimize job work productivity to align with company goals<br />
• Mass Balance Control:<br />
o Ensure mass balance accuracy across the distribution network by tracking the flow of materials and products.<br />
o Develop and implement controls to monitor and verify mass balance across all distribution points.<br />
o Regularly audit mass balance data and resolve discrepancies promptly.<br />
• Distribution Centre Inventory Management:<br />
o Manage inventory levels across distribution centres, including hubs, job-work sites, and vendor locations.<br />
o Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of all SKUs, maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand.<br />
o Implement inventory management best practices to minimize stock discrepancies and prevent overstocking<br />
or stockouts.<br />
• Distribution Cost Management:<br />
o Control operational costs within the distribution network, ensuring expenses stay within budgetary limits.<br />
o Identify cost-saving opportunities across distribution operations without compromising service quality.<br />
o Provide regular financial reports on distribution costs and implement corrective actions as needed.</div>

<div>• Financial Accuracy – Job-Work and Hub Transactions:<br />
o Ensure financial accuracy in job work and hub transactions, including invoicing, payments, and cost<br />
allocations.<br />
o Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile financial records and address any discrepancies.<br />
o Maintain transparency and accountability in all financial transactions related to distribution.<br />
• Vendor Management:<br />
o Manage relationships with job work vendors and distribution centre owners ensuring utilization, quality<br />
improvement, and cost optimization.<br />
o Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors to secure favourable terms and high-quality<br />
services.<br />
o Regularly review vendor performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.<br />
• Communication and Collaboration:<br />
o Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, Finance, warehouse,<br />
Sales, and production teams.<br />
o Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of assigned activities with organizational goals.</div>
<div>Qualifications and Requirements:<br />
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics and Distribution, Business Administration, or a<br />
related field.<br />
• 10+ years of experience in distribution or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.<br />
• Proven experience in managing distribution centres, SKU wise inventory management and control, managing vendor<br />
relationships.<br />
• Strong knowledge of mass balance and quality control, inventory management, cost optimization and wastage or loss<br />
minimization.<br />
• Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reconcile financial records<br />
• Ready to Travel within the region as needed and should be comfortable with field work as and when required.<br />
Preferred Candidates:<br />
• Experience in designing, developing and operating distribution networks in industries like – Manufacturing, FMCG,<br />
Agriculture, F&B, Retail, Sales & Marketing, E-commerce.<br />
• Familiarity with environmental and regulatory compliance related to distribution operations.<br />
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive process improvements and manage teams effectively.<br />
