Purpose of the Job:

Sourcing, Investing, supporting Fund-raising and portfolio monitoring

Key responsibilities:

• Coverage and Managing pipeline of India based Technology VC funds and underlying start-ups
• Preparing and maintaining knowledge databases like Fund universe, Investment evaluation framework
• Evaluating, Researching and Negotiating investments into VC funds and start-ups
• Present and recommend to Investment Committee and Advisory Committee Members
• Active Monitoring of existing portfolio of VC funds and start-ups
• Quarterly reporting, supporting external valuation and fund audits
• Coordinating with various internal corporate teams viz. Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal etc. and portfolio VC Funds and start-ups
• Working actively on the Indo-Japan corridor to support Japanese LPs and start-ups with their respective requirements
• Coordinating in organizing events for Japanese LPs, VC Funds, and Indian start-ups
• Creating collaterals for existing LP communications and supporting future fund-raising activities

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp:

• 10 – 13 years of prior experience, of which at least 6-8 years working with VC fund (s) or Corporate VC arms, Corporate Development / M&A, Ex-technology entrepreneurs
• Engineers and/or MBA and/or CFA and/or CA and/or CAIA
