Job Summary

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data processing systems. This role is crucial in managing the organization’s data pipeline and ensuring efficient data flow and storage to support analytics and decision-making processes. The position is an immediate start opportunity with openings in Bangalore and Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Build robust architectures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Implement Big Data Solutions: Utilize Azure Cloud Services for managing big data solutions.
• Collaborate with Analytics Teams: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide necessary data support for analytics initiatives.
• Ensure Data Quality: Maintain data accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources and systems.
• Optimize Data Systems: Enhance the performance and efficiency of existing data processing systems.
• Document Processes: Prepare comprehensive documentation for all data processes and system architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services and detailed knowledge of Big Data Analytics.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with significant expertise in big data technologies and cloud services.

Environment

This full-time role is based in Bangalore or Chennai. The job requires some flexibility in working hours to meet project deadlines and facilitate collaboration with team members located in different time zones.
