This role involves maintaining detailed records of all financial transactions, preparing relevant reports, and supporting the overall financial management of the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Accounting: ○ Record all sales transactions accurately in the accounting system. ○ Prepare and send invoices to customers and ensure timely collection of payments. ○ Reconcile sales accounts and resolve discrepancies. ○ Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and update as necessary. 2. Purchase Accounting: ○ Record all purchase transactions accurately in the accounting system. ○ Process and verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payments. ○ Reconcile purchase accounts and resolve discrepancies. ○ Maintain accurate records of supplier accounts and update as necessary. 3. Financial Reporting: ○ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and purchase reports. ○ Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing detailed sales and purchase data. ○ Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting. 4. Compliance and Audit: ○ Ensure all sales and purchase transactions comply with company policies and statutory regulations. ○ Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. ○ Monitor and enforce adherence to sales and purchase policies and procedures. 5. Record Keeping: ○ Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all sales and purchase transactions. ○ Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, and related documents. ○ Reconcile sales and purchase accounts regularly to ensure accuracy. Qualifications and Skills: ● Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ● Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on sales and purchase management. ● Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and familiarity with sales and purchase accounting processes. ● Skills: ○ Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel. ○ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ○ Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. ○ Good communication and interpersonal skills. ○ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ○ Strong organizational and time management skills.</div>
