🚀 Mave is Hiring a Founding React Native Engineer! 🚀

We’re looking for a top-tier React Native engineer to own mobile app development at Mave while also contributing to web-based tools like admin dashboards. If you’ve built and shipped high-quality mobile apps and want to play a foundational role in a fast-growing health-tech startup, this is for you.

What You’ll Work On

🔹 Develop and own the Mave Health mobile app(s) using React Native & Expo
🔹 Ensure smooth, high-performance experiences on both iOS & Android
🔹 Collaborate with design & backend teams to build pixel-perfect UIs and seamless API integrations
🔹 Work with REST & WebSocket APIs to enable real-time data updates and interactions
🔹 Develop web-based dashboards and internal tools (React) to support the platform
🔹 Stay ahead of the curve with modern mobile development trends and best practices

Who We’re Looking For

✅ Strong expertise in React Native, with at least one published app on iOS & Android
✅ Experience with Expo, including plugins & prebuild workflows
✅ Deep understanding of React and JavaScript fundamentals
✅ Strong UI/UX skills – ability to translate Figma designs into polished, user-friendly interfaces
✅ Proficiency in working with APIs (REST, WebSockets) and handling state management efficiently
✅ Experience debugging & optimizing performance for smooth mobile experiences
✅ Startup mindset – comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Bonus Points

🌟 Experience with push notifications on iOS & Android
🌟 Hands-on experience with native development (Swift/Kotlin) for performance-critical tasks
🌟 Experience with real-time features like chat or WebRTC-based video calls
🌟 Exposure to backend development (Node.js, Firebase, or similar)

Hiring Process

1️⃣ Assessment Test
2️⃣ Quick introduction with the Co-founder & CTO – Aman
(optional) Take-home assignment to assess problem-solving & technical skills
3️⃣ Technical round with Aman (Won’t be asking to invert a binary tree!)
4️⃣ Final interview with the founders

Logistics

📍 Location: Office in HSR Layout, Bangalore
👥 Team: 10 people (3 founders, 7 teammates)

⏳ Work week: 5 days/week (can extend to 6 during critical months – if this is an issue, please do NOT apply)
💰 Pay: ₹24 - 36 LPA + ESOPs 0.1 - 0.5%
📅 Experience: 3-5+ years
