Brand & Community Engagement Intern

Job Summary

The Brand & Community Engagement Intern will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of community events and campaigns designed to foster engagement and loyalty among pet owners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about brand building, community engagement, and the fast-growing pet care industry. The intern will assist in organizing community-focused events, designing loyalty and referral programs, and conducting competitor research to strengthen the brand’s connection with its audience.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and measure ROI for brand events such as “Paws & Applause,” Dogathons, and other community initiatives.
  • Assist in developing loyalty programs, referral incentives, and co-branded event formats to drive customer retention and acquisition.
  • Conduct research on successful D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) pet brands and extract actionable insights for community-first growth strategies.
  • Support in the coordination and execution of community engagement activities, including event logistics, partnerships, and post-event analysis.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance event experiences and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, event outcomes, and recommendations to the team.

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for pets, community engagement, and brand building.
  • Analytical mindset with basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience organizing events or community activities (campus clubs, volunteer work, etc.).
  • Familiarity with D2C brand strategies, especially within the pet care industry.
  • Knowledge of social media and digital marketing platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic skills in data analysis or event ROI measurement tools.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 0 years (entry-level/internship).
  • Relevant experience in event management, marketing, community engagement, or student organizations is a plus but not required.

Environment

  • Internship position (full-time or part-time as per academic schedule).
  • Location: Not specified (potential for remote or hybrid arrangement depending on company policy).

Salary

  • INR 300,000 – 500,000 per annum (as per company internship stipend structure).
