Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally Prime, bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and TDS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime, including ledger entries, vouchers, and reconciliations.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements including TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.
• Prepare and file TDS returns and handle related reconciliations.
• Assist in Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including returns and reconciliations (if applicable).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams for audits and compliance matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.
• Work with the Data Analyst team to extract data and work with it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Tally Prime.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards.
• Practical experience in TDS compliance and filings.
• Basic understanding of GST and other statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting-related documentation.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
