Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Logic App & API Specialist to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying APIs while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and best practices. This role will contribute significantly to our API development initiatives, helping to streamline and standardize our processes.

Responsibilities

• Adopt an API Design First Approach: Use OpenAPI (Swagger), RAML, or Async API specifications to define APIs prior to implementation for stakeholder alignment.
• API Specification Creation: Design API specifications adhering to organizational standards covering endpoints, data structures, error handling, and response codes.
• Policy Design & Configuration: Define and configure API policies (security, routing, transformation, throttling, etc.) using Azure API Management (APIM).
• Mock API Development: Create mock APIs for validation and integration testing in the early stages.
• API Testing: Perform unit testing to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with specifications.
• Environment Configuration: Configure backend settings in APIM (naming conventions, App Insights, Key Vault) across DEV, UAT, and PRD environments.
• API Deployment: Deploy APIs into Azure APIM Dev instance and manage promotions across environments using API DevOps frameworks.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed API documentation, developer guides, and references following enterprise standards.
• Metadata Publishing: Publish API Identity Cards (metadata, usage info) to the APIM Developer Portal for easy discovery and adoption.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Azure Logic Apps.
  • Strong experience in API development and management.
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI, RAML, and Async API specifications.
  • Knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Experience with unit testing and mock API development.
  • Understanding of environments configuration in Azure.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

• Knowledge of security protocols relevant to API management.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in API development and Azure Logic Apps.
• Proven track record of managing multiple API projects simultaneously.

This position is based in Pune. The work environment is primarily office-based, with expectations for collaboration within the team.
