The Role

This is a leadership role at a well-capitalized, fast-moving, 6-month-old startup, building the technology backbone

for Indian investors going global. As Head of Engineering, you will own the technical architecture and lead the

team that turns this vision into a reliable, secure, regulated product.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for the platform — app, backend, data, and integrations with

custodians/brokers.

• Build and lead the engineering team as the company scales, setting the hiring bar and engineering culture.

• Partner closely with founders on product prioritization, translating business goals into shippable scope.

• Ensure the platform meets the reliability, security, and compliance standards expected of a regulated fintech.

• Drive engineering rigor — realistic timelines, clear scope commitments, and honest tradeoff conversations.

Ideal Fit

• 10–15 years in engineering, with at least 3–5 in a leadership/Head of Engineering capacity.

• Experience in fintech, wealthtech, or other regulated environments.

• Track record of building and scaling a team and codebase from early stage.

• Direct, no-surprises communicator who flags risk and slippage early rather than at the deadline.

• Excited by a small-team, high-ownership, high-growth environment.
