Job Summary

The SAP APO PPDS (Advanced Planning and Optimization - Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) specialist will be responsible for optimizing the production planning processes within the organization. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective production schedules that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production planning and scheduling processes using SAP APO PPDS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance production efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduling issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on production.
• Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of SAP APO PPDS functionalities.
• Continuously analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all planning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SAP APO PPDS functionalities and configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex scheduling issues.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Certification in SAP APO or related modules is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP SD, or SAP PP.
• Familiarity with supply chain and production processes within manufacturing industries.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a similar role within a multinational company.

Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with SAP APO PPDS or related modules is preferred.

Environment

This position offers a flexible working environment with the possibility of remote work, covering various locations across India. The role may require occasional travel to company sites for meetings and training sessions.
