Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and performant backend solutions. This role requires the development of large-scale systems using Java technologies and ensuring quality through rigorous testing and continuous integration practices. The developer will contribute to the organization’s goals by creating efficient backend services and providing data-driven insights for each feature built.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable web development solutions.
• Architect and develop large-scale backend systems using Java EE, Spring MVC, or Hibernate.
• Design, build, and maintain complex RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Provide data-driven insights for every feature built.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Over 5 years of experience in backend services development using Java, JEE, Spring MVC.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software development methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL, JDBC/ORM, and JMS.
• Proficiency with Maven, Git, and continuous integration tools.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in large-scale data processing, caching strategies, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.

Experience

5-12 years of relevant experience in backend services development.
