QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing and executing automation tests using Python and Selenium WebDriver. This role is critical in ensuring the software quality across our projects by building robust automation frameworks, integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines, and exploring the implementation of AI/ML-powered testing tools. The ideal candidate is proactive, independent, and quality-focused, with a keen eye for detail and an in-depth understanding of software QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Execute REST API testing and seamlessly integrate testing processes within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to design and implement comprehensive test strategies.
• Document test cases, create detailed test scripts, and maintain thorough testing records.
• Evaluate and incorporate AI/ML-powered automation tools to enhance testing coverage and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze defects, and ensure timely resolution to maintain high software quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proven ability in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in REST API testing and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with the Agile Scrum methodology.
• A quality-focused, proactive, and independent work approach.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred.

Experience

• 3–5 years of practical experience in QA Automation, specifically in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
