About the Role 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with a minimum of 10 years in backend development to architect and build robust, high-performance systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in Node.js and MongoDB, experience working on AI-driven and video-centric platforms, and a track record of collaborating with C-level stakeholders and mentoring teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop, optimize, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js. 

• Design and manage scalable APIs and microservices architectures. 

• Optimize complex database queries and oversee data pipelines with MongoDB. 

• Collaborate closely with AI/ML and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into backend systems. 

• Lead development around video platforms—handling video ingestion, processing, streaming, or analytics. 

• Engage in high-level collaboration with C-suite executives, translating business strategy into technical solutions. 

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and ensuring code quality. 

• Support and refine CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments. 

• Utilize AWS services effectively for infrastructure, deployment, and scaling. 

 

Must-Have Skills & Experience 

• 10+ years of backend development experience in production environments. 

• Expert knowledge in Node.js (e.g., Express.js, REST, Microservices). 

• Deep experience with MongoDB—including schema design, performance tuning, and indexing. 

• Demonstrated experience working on Building and integrated AI applications (e.g., inference APIs, model-serving endpoints). 

• Proven background in video platforms (e.g., streaming, media processing, video storage metadata). 

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and tools. 

• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS). 

 

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills 

• Prior experience collaborating with and influencing C-level executives. ified
