Job Summary

We are seeking a Cypress Automation QA with extensive experience in web automation. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Cypress tool with TypeScript. This position requires flexibility regarding working hours to accommodate project needs, including potential overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress with TypeScript.
• Implement design patterns, including the Page Object Model (POM) or other test frameworks.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for executing pipelines and managing the test environment.
• Employ Git for version control and collaboration on test automation projects.
• Generate detailed test reports using Mocha and other Cypress-compatible reporting tools.
• Demonstrate an independent learning ability to adapt quickly to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and technologies with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficiency in web automation using the Cypress tool.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript as the programming language.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for pipeline execution.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
• Other Qualities:
  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
  • Strong adaptability to new processes and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other test automation frameworks or libraries.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and additional programming languages.
• Knowledge in generating reports using various testing tools.

Experience

• 12-15 years of professional experience in quality assurance and automation testing.

Environment

• This is a remote position, with work hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Flexibility is required to overlap with EST as necessary.

Salary

• Estimated salary of 1.4 LPM + Tax.
