We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Head of Business Development to lead and scale our Brands Vertical.
This role will focus on driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key brands, and expanding our market presence across diverse industries.
Role Overview:
As the Head of Business Development – Brands Vertical, you will be responsible for driving new revenue streams, managing client relationships, and scaling our presence in the consumer brands space. You will work closely with the product, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver solutions that meet the unique needs of brand marketers, helping them leverage our AI-driven insights for product development, marketing strategy, customer engagement, and competitive advantage. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing a sales strategy to position us as a leader in the brand custom research market.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Brands Vertical, targeting key brand marketers, CMOs, and senior executives in consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, and other relevant industries.

Drive the sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior-level stakeholders at leading brands, acting as a trusted advisor for their market research and analytics needs.

Market Expansion & Revenue Growth:

Identify and pursue high-potential markets and customer segments, positioning the company’s AI-powered market research solutions as the go-to platform for brand insights.

Manage the sales cycle end-to-end, from lead generation and prospecting to closing and post-sale engagement.

Achieve and exceed revenue targets, contributing directly to the company’s growth objectives.

Understand the unique challenges faced by brand marketers in areas such as consumer insights, product development, brand positioning, and marketing ROI.

Customize sales pitches and proposals to showcase how our AI-driven platform can solve specific client challenges and drive measurable business outcomes.

Collaborate with product teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into future product enhancements and tailored solutions.

Partnership Development:

Forge strategic partnerships and alliances with key players in the market research, technology, and consulting ecosystems to expand the company’s footprint in the brands space.

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services and solutions to existing clients.

Thought Leadership & Brand Evangelism:

Serve as a brand ambassador and thought leader in AI-powered market research, representing the company at industry events, webinars, and client meetings.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to effectively position the company’s offerings in the market.

Reporting & Analytics:

Develop sales forecasts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report regularly on business development activities and progress toward targets.

8-10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior role within the AI, technology, or market research industries.

Proven experience in driving business growth within the enterprise/consumer brands space (e.g., FMCG, retail, e-commerce, consumer technology, etc.).

Strong understanding of AI-driven technologies, data analytics, and market research solutions.

Previous experience with AI-powered platforms or SaaS solutions is highly preferred.

Deep understanding of brand marketing challenges and how data-driven insights can transform business strategies.
