Job Summary

The Oracle WMS Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Warehouse Management Solutions (WMS) to meet business requirements. This role involves a deep engagement with clients to understand their operations and provide functional expertise, ensuring smooth integration and customization of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle WMS solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements. Develop and configure Oracle WMS modules, including inventory management, order management, shipping, and receiving.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and objectives for warehouse management. Provide functional expertise and recommend best practices for warehouse and inventory management.
• System Integration: Integrate Oracle WMS with other Oracle applications and third-party systems, collaborating with technical teams for smooth data flow.
• Configuration and Customization: Configure Oracle WMS features, implement system customizations, and ensure stability and scalability to meet client-specific business needs.
• Training and Support: Provide training on Oracle WMS functionality, support post-implementation activities, and assist with system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Project Management and Documentation: Manage multiple Oracle WMS implementation projects, adhere to timelines and budgets, and create comprehensive documentation including process flows and user manuals.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Oracle WMS enhancements and industry trends, recommending and implementing process optimizations for increased efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle WMS consulting with a track record of successful implementations and optimization projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Oracle WMS setup, configuration, customization.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle SCM Cloud, or Oracle Fusion.
  • Experience in SQL, PL/SQL for data extraction and reporting.
  • Familiarity with RF systems, barcode scanning, and mobile devices in Oracle WMS.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Oracle Certifications in WMS and Supply Chain Management are a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle WMS Cloud.
• Knowledge of related Oracle solutions (Oracle EBS, Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Inventory).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience in process re-engineering and improvement projects.

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle WMS consulting and implementation.
