We are hiring a Finance Controller based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to lead our Finance & Accounts (F&A) function.

1. The role will have overall leadership of F&A, managing a team that takes care of reporting, payables and receivables, audit, statutory payments, compliances, direct and indirect taxation, payroll, insurance etc.
2. We have entities in multiple geographies (Singapore, India and UAE) and multiple business verticals (tech platform, funds and e-commerce). This role will manage them and ensure we are compliant with taxation, filing and other requirements in each geography and for each vertical.
3. We run an efficient business operation. This role will be responsible for increasing ROI on all non-salary spends and making recommendations on cost optimisation. 
4. We believe in being best-in-class and reliable partners for all stakeholders. This role will          implement SOPs and processes that ensure fast resolution of all requests, zero-defect reporting, and suitable internal and external escalations.

Requirements

1. Chartered Accountant
2. 5-8 years’ experience in F&A functions in a lending business. Candidates with experience in lending FinTech start-ups (seed to Series B) will be preferred.
3. Exposure to NBFCs - either in internal finance function or as a partner - is highly preferred but not mandatory.
4. Experience in an organisation that has entities in multiple geographies is highly preferred but not mandatory.
5. Experience in managing teams, generating high-quality reports for senior management, and good written and verbal communication skills.
