Project Management Intern - Events (3-Month Program)

Job Summary

As a Project Management Intern (Events), you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of event campaigns. This 3-month internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in backend project planning, vendor and logistics management, event communications, marketing and promotions, event execution, and post-event analysis. You will work closely with senior team members, gaining exposure to various facets of project management while contributing innovative ideas to enhance event experiences, especially for children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute event campaigns successfully.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to coordinate campaigns, evaluate, and measure performance.
  • Brainstorm and implement event plans and concepts.
  • Design and manage day-to-day event schedules and execution.
  • Suggest ideas to enhance event success.
  • Manage vendors and procure materials necessary for event execution.
  • Draft and handle event communications via calls and messages.
  • Assist in logistical coordination and execution of events.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve overall event experiences.

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected situations.
  • Ability to communicate in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or other regional languages (added advantage).
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (G Suite) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferably, should have access to a laptop.
  • Ability to commute on a two-wheeler or a four-wheeler.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events.
  • Educational Qualification: Open to students and recent graduates; any discipline with event management interest preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience or coursework in Event Planning, Event Management, or related fields.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with marketing or promotional activities.
  • Creative mindset for developing engaging event concepts.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 0 years (Freshers welcome).
  • Relevant experience in event planning, event management, project management, or related tasks is a plus but not required.

Environment

  • Work 7 hours per day.
  • Must be available on weekends for events.
  • Locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Cochin.
  • Project-based travel opportunities across India (PAN India).
  • Hybrid work may be expected depending on event schedules and locations.

Salary

  • Stipend: ₹8,000 per month.
  • Additional incentives may be offered based on performance.
