Job Summary
The Category Growth & Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in expanding Fixxly's presence within specific trade communities. This field-first, relationship-driven role is essential for achieving growth targets and building effective partnerships within the trade sector.
Responsibilities
- Own GMV, sign-up, and repeat-order targets for your assigned trade category and geography.
- Monitor daily ordering numbers for your category to diagnose any supply gaps, pricing issues, or demand shortfalls.
- Maintain a live view of product availability and pricing competitiveness within your category, providing recommendations during weekly growth reviews.
- Plan and execute monthly BTL activation calendars including trade counter activations, site visits, partnerships with builders merchants, and tool-shop tie-ups.
- Identify and sign partnerships with trade associations and training bodies, negotiate co-marketing arrangements, and track the return on investment (ROI) for referrals monthly.
- Build a pipeline of anchor accounts consisting of larger contractors or trade businesses that will adopt Fixxly and increase volume.
- Seed Fixxly's referral programme at on-ground touchpoints and gather qualitative field feedback to enhance the product and catalogue.
- Collaborate with the Growth & Revenue Manager on first-order conversion for newly acquired users in your category.
Qualifications

Must-have:
- 3–5 years of experience in category management, trade marketing, business development, or field sales at a consumer or B2B company.
- Comfort with working in the field, visiting trade sites, tool shops, and contractors' offices.
- Strong relationship-building skills with non-digital, blue-collar professional communities.
- Basic analytical skills to interpret category dashboards and identify discrepancies.
- High ownership mindset, accountable for achieving sign-up and GMV targets.

Nice to have:
- Previous experience in sales or field activation roles at building material organizations.
- Knowledge of one or more trade categories: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, civil construction.
- Experience in executing BTL activations at trade counters, hardware stores, or contractor networks.
Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in category management, trade marketing, business development, or field sales.
Environment
This position is field-heavy, primarily involving visits to trade sites, tool shops, and contractor offices in Bangalore.
