Network Engineer

Job Summary

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions across enterprise environments, with a strong focus on SDWAN technologies, enterprise-level switching, and cloud networking. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust network performance, automation, and integration with cloud platforms, contributing directly to organizational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage SDWAN solutions to optimize network performance and availability.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level switching and wireless network infrastructure.
• Implement and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) or similar Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Develop network automation scripts using Python and RESTful APIs to streamline operations and reduce manual interventions.
• Integrate and manage cloud networking components such as AWS Cloud WAN, Azure vWAN, VPCs, Vnets, and gateways.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a DevSecOps and Agile/Scrum environment to deliver reliable network services.
• Ensure network security standards are maintained and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with a minimum of 5 years relevant to the specified skills.
• Strong expertise in SDWAN technologies and enterprise-level switching.
• Proficiency in enterprise wireless technologies.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco ISE or similar NAC solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in network automation using Python and RESTful APIs.
• Solid grasp of cloud networking concepts and architectures.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and related tools.
• Prior experience working in Agile environments.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, AWS/Azure certifications).

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in network engineering, preferably with exposure to SDWAN, cloud networking, network automation, and enterprise switching.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable.

Environment

• Work location options: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Noida.
• Typical work is performed in an office setting; hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered based on project requirements and company policy.
• May require occasional travel to data centers or client sites.
