IT Security Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Professional to design, implement, and manage a robust security infrastructure for both Onshore and Offshore operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cybersecurity, network security, infrastructure management, access control, and compliance to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a strong enterprise-wide security framework for both Onshore and Offshore teams.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
• Implement network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Establish secure remote access and authentication methods for distributed teams.
• Monitor systems and networks for security vulnerabilities, threats, and suspicious activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proper data protection, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
• Manage user access controls and identity management systems.
• Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Coordinate incident response procedures and investigate security events.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity management.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud security, endpoint security, and data protection.
• Experience with:
  • Firewalls and VPN technologies
  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Security monitoring tools
  • Backup and disaster recovery systems
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and risk management.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as:
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft/AWS Security certifications
• Experience managing security for distributed global teams.
• Experience in healthcare, HIPAA compliance, or regulated industries.
